How to apply

There are a few rules you must follow in drafting your proposal, and a number of criteria you have to meet on this first step to what may be your own company. For eligibility criteria, please click here.

Before submitting a Pre-Seed Grant project proposal, we ask you to contact the relevant valorisation officer or TTO. The NGI Valorisation Network can support you as potential entrepreneur in drafting a high-quality proposal.

The content of your proposal

  • The application must be drafted in English and include a project plan and a projected budget for the Pre-Seed Grant project.
  • The application must include an agreement between the applicant and the researcher involved relating to the execution of the Pre-Seed Grant project.

Note that there are no pre-applications, and that your proposal must be drafted according to the guidelines shown above and submitted to ZonMw via ProjectNet using the digital application form.

Once we have received your proposal, the secretary will check its admissibility and make an initial assessment as to suitability. Next, the proposals are sent to members of the Pre-Seed Grant committee for preliminary handling.
